We are now a dealer for fine quality
DMT Diamond Hones & have selected stones ideally suited to
woodcarvers.
These are 6" x 2" x 1/4" on solid nickel plated
steel embeded with long lasting, top quality monocrystaline
diamonds .
1200 - Extra Fine ( for touching up a fine edge)
600 - Fine (
for general maintenance)
325 - Coarse
( for reshaping - or repairing damage)
220 - Extra Coarse (for major rehsaping)
I have been using these as a professional for 25 years, and after
25 years of use they are still wonderful stones, just a little
finer than they started, and of course still dead flat.
Please don't confuse these with the cheaper diamond stones
that have holes or plastic backing, these stones are professional
quality.
They come with rubber feet to keep them from moving in use.
