Short Harley Knife – 1.5″

Note: I have now discontinued the ability for any more folk to join the  ‘notify email wait-list’  This is because, now that I am retired at 72, yea!  The few tools I still hope to occasionally produce, will be offered first to the earliest people on the list, many have waited already for a year.  Sorry!

Previously called  a ‘Stubby’ knife. Identical to a Harley knife but with a 1.5″ blade.
It is made specifically for the style of woodcarving called “Flat Plane Figure Carving”.
This tool is made especially thin and flat for easy straight cutting in very clean basswood – if you’re carving into knots, hard wood etc. it may mean you need to go to a heavier edged knife, like a sloyd.
A few of these are requested over the years by customers who desire a shorter Harley Knife.
Comes with a custom fitted protective sheath.
